Pastor David Hsu received his Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He joined WHCC as the English pastor in 1993. He was appointed as senior pastor in July 2002. He is married to Cheryl and has two children, Nathan and Hannah.
I-Ming Huang received his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from China Evangelical Seminary in Taiwan. Mr. Huang joined WHCC staff team in September, 2009, focus on Chinese ministry. He is married to Souane and has three children, Sebastien, Jeremy and Grace.
Paul See received his Master of Divinity from China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong. He and his wife Tina returned to WHCC in July 2007. They have two children, Kenneth and Candice. Paul joined WHCC staff team in August 2007, focus on Cantonese ministry.
English Associate Pastor
Edward Lee received his Masters of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He joined the staff team in December 2012 as the Associate English Pastor focusing on the English Young Adult Ministry. He is married to Christina, and has two sons, Elijah and Caleb.
Mrs. Estella Lin received a Master of Religious Education degree in childhood education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She joined WHCC as the Director of Children and Women Ministry in 1995. She became Family Minister in 2012. She is married to Rev. Emmo Lin and has two daughters, Hannah and Phoebe.
Jodi Chung graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in May 2006 with a Master of Divinity and a month later joined the WHCC staff team as the Youth Minister. She has been a member of WHCC since 1998. She is married to Rev. Mike Chung and has two children Coleman and Noelle.
Minister Ruth Wu graduated from Columbia International University and received a Bachelor of Science in Bible and a Master of Arts in Counseling. Ruth joined West Houston Chinese Church in February 2013 as an interim minister to serve in the Cantonese ministry. She has three daughters, Lydia, Esther and Grace.
Yile “Leo” Huang
Minister Yile “Leo” Huang received his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. He has joined WHCC since January 15, 2015 as Mandarin Minister, focusing on mandarin young adult ministry. He is married to Amanda Tsai and they have 4 boys (Jesse, Isaac, Johan and Yireh) .
Nathan Wang has been serving as the executive minister since January 2017. Nathan’s primary role is to provide operational leadership for our staff team and council for the implementation of the church vision, and to develop vision alignment in support of the congregations and ministries. He reports to the Senior Pastor.
Nathan graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and holds a Master’s in Public Health from U.T. School of Public Health and a Master’s in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Prior to joining staff at WHCC, Nathan served 7 years in public health as an infectious disease epidemiologist and emergency preparedness planner. His passion is to help the local church develop followers of Christ into Christian leaders that will transform their communities for the glory of God. He and his wife Hannah are proud parents of Adah.
Associate Youth Minister
Kai Chen served as Associate Youth Minister since 7/1/2016. He grew up in Fort Bend Community Church and graduated from UT Austin. Kai completed his M.Div in 2016 from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. He previously has worked serving youth at Austin Chinese Church and Fort Bend Community Church, and serving the college students at Asian American Baptist Church.

NHCC Chinese Pastor
David Chu received his Master of Divinity from China Evangelical Seminary in Taiwan . He and his wife Feng-Mei returned to WHCC in September 2007 and joined WHCC staff team in October, 2007, focus on Chinese ministry. They have two sons, Nick and Mark.
NHCC Interim English/Youth Pastor
Matt Connally graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois with a Master of Divinity in 2000. He joined the NHCC staff team as the English/youth pastor in January, 2017. A native Texan, he is married to Melissa, an Oklahoma girl whom he met in Hong Kong when both of them were serving with Campus Crusade for Christ International. They have two boys, Matthew and Jeremiah.
Lie Sie Oei
NHCC Student Director/Administratior (full-time)
Lie Sie Oei is a trained psychiatric nurse from England. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Education), minoring in Middle School (4-8 grade) Mathematics. She is presently pursuing a Master's degree in Grace School of Theology. She joined as a staff of NHCC in 2015. She is married to Kean Seng, and has four children- Andrew, Sara, David and Joshua.
