We celebrate Andrew and Melody’s daughter Isla Hsieh, and Tim & Lucy’s daughter Kalea Lim, and praise God as these parents commit to raising their children in a way that honors God and instills faith, hope and love. We share in their joy during this Sunday’s Infant Dedication Ceremony!

The Behold! art exhibit is open! In remembering Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection, WHCC will be presenting “Behold! Stations of the Cross” – an artistic reflection of Jesus’ journey on the Via Dolorosa. The exhibit will be open starting Easter weekend, from March 29 to April 28, in the overflow/cry room by the sanctuary.

Please note: Due to the art exhibit, the overflow room by the sanctuary will be unavailable as secondary seating through April 28. Families who usually sit in the overflow room during service are encouraged to sit inside the Sanctuary. (We love to worship with your little ones too!)

Elevator usage will be temporarily suspended from April 28 to May 30, as the church elevator is being upgraded. Thank you for your understanding.

Shuying Huang Hwo Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be, upon graduation, attending accredited college/university full-time or is currently a full-time undergraduate student in accredited college/university. This year, up to four students will receive a scholarship of $1,000 each.

This scholarship program is established in loving memory of Shuying Huang Hwo who passed away in 2014. Shuying was a devout Christian who loved and served Christ, with a strong passion to see others come to know the Savior. Has your child ever been defiant, defensive, or disconnected? They may be experiencing emotions they don’t know how to express in a healthy way. Join us for a time of learning with mental health therapist, Dan Chung, to hear his story and learn how to better connect with your child. Bring your lunch to Room 204 on Sunday, May 5 from 12:30-1:30pm to attend this parenting seminar: “From Anger to Hope: A Journey of Healing.”

Join us for World Vision’s Global 6K for Water! This is a wonderful opportunity for families to join together for something meaningful and fun, reach out to our neighbors, and change the lives of children all over the world! Watch World Vision’s video to learn more about the heart behind this 6k. Join us in celebrating the graduating class of 2024 for our annual Senior Graduation Banquet on Sunday, May 19, at 5:30pm in the WHCC Gym. It’s our official opportunity to encourage our seniors and send them off with a blessing and a good meal. All are invited. Purchase your tickets by May 12.

Children thrive when they experience the love of Christ through intergenerational relationships in community. Each summer, parents accompany their 1st-5th grade children to join the English intergen service. However, language and or familial barriers makes this especially challenging for some. Therefore, we invite singles, married couples, and families who are members of WHCC to consider hosting a child during Intergen service. Please click here for more details and to sign up by May 12.
