STM PROJECTS

Join us in mission! We invite you to look through the Short-Term Mission (STM) trips below.

Our STM application process requires two forms to be submitted:

  1. The interest form for the specific STM(s) you’d like to join. The interest form link for each open STM can be found by its description below.
  2. General STM Trip Application: Required to participate in any WHCC short-term mission trip each year. If you decide to join multiple trips within one year, you only need to fill out the application once.


Please note that the interest form and application will need to be reviewed by the trip leaders and does not guarantee acceptance to join the mission trip.



Southeast Asia STM


Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC):
October 24 – November 4



Da Nang:
November 5-12

Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Southeast Asia STMs.


This year W will be sending two teams—one to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and a second team to Da Nang. W’s partnerships with our various partners began in 2016. In HCMC, our STM will work primarily with Cantonese speaking churches. The ministries include giving workshops, training, visitation, prayer, support, and encouragement. In Da Nang, W works with both Korean and American partners. The ministries include outreach to college and young professionals, and service projects to a local orphanage. Visioning is an important part of both teams’ trips.


Southeast Asia STM details:


  • Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC): October 24 – November 4 (Led by Raymond Sham)
  • Da Nang: November 5-12 (Led by Fa Dwan)

Please note that in addition to filling out this interest form, you will also need to complete the the STM Trip Application (below), which is required to participate in any WHCC short-term mission trip this year. If you decide to join multiple trips in this year, you only need to fill out this application once. Please note that the application will need to be reviewed by the trip leaders and does not guarantee acceptance to join the mission trip. The trip leaders will be in touch with you upon completion.

Parents Gospel Retreat
June 2025

Thanks for your interest in the Parents Gospel Camp 2025! 

  • The dates for the retreat: Early June, 2025
  • Retreat Location: A retreat center near Houston/Taiwan
  • Must be committed to attending monthly preparatory meetings starting from September 2024 and completing assignments

Mid-US College Campuses
August 16 – 25

his short-term mission trip will partner with the Christian Witness Center, focusing on and visiting different college campuses in the Mid-US region. There are three main purposes for our short-term mission team:


  1. Share Gospel with the locals and the college students in various campuses.
  2. Working with the local Christians to help build up Bible study groups.
  3. Help all STMers to establish vision for mission.

The dates for the trip are August 16-25, and the estimated cost is $1200/person. We plan to have 4-5 trainings, which include: planning, personal testimony, sharing Gospel using Gospel tracks, etc. prior to our departure.

The deadline for submitting this interest form and the STM application is August 4, 2024.
